To check to see if your golf cart motor runs on 36 volts or 48 volts, count the number of water-fill holes on top of the battery.
If it has 3, it’s a 6 volt battery x 6 batteries – it’ll be 36 volts. (see below)
If it has 4, it’s a 8 volt battery x 6 batteries – it’ll be 48 volts. (see below)
